Cardamine pratensis & Cardamine amara


These delicate pale pink flowers are found in moist meadows, or at riversides, and flower April to June.  Lady's Smock is also known as Cuckoo Flower as it comes into flower around the time the cuckoo starts to call and is said to be sacred to fairies. The original watercolour was painted by Sophia in May 1903.


Our square cards measure 140mm x 140mm and are left blank for your own personal message. Sophia's original watercolour is carefully reproduced on 320gsm Vellum Ivory card and comes complete with a bespoke 135gsm mid green, peel-and-seal envelope.


Produced in the UK, both card and envelope are made with paper that is FSC accredited and can be easily recycled.
