Cornflowers are also known as Bachelor's Button and are now endangered in their native habitatits. Knapweed was also known locally as Blue-bottle and Star-thistle. The original watercolour was painted by Sophia in 1903 and her father Richard Walker also included Knapweed in his 1833 Flora of Oxfordshire.
Our rectangular cards measure 130mm x 175mm and are left blank for your own personal message. Sophia's original watercolour is carefully reproduced on 320gsm Vellum Ivory card and comes complete with a bespoke 135gsm mid green, peel-and-seal envelope.
Produced in the UK, both card and envelope are made with paper that is FSC accredited and can be easily recycled.
