Meconopsis cambrica 
 
The original watercolour was painted in 1904 from a poppy found by Sophia 'on the shady side of Malvern'.  The Welsh Poppy grows in damp shady places on rocky ground and flowers from June to July. 
 
Our unframed A4 prints are produced in the UK and measure 210mm x 297mm.  Sophia's original watercolour is carefully reproduced on high-quality 215gsm Vellum Ivory paper that is FSC accredited and can be easily recycled.
